Long Island Food Critic

As we walked towards the Carltun located in beautiful Eishenhower Park, we were graciously welcomed by the sounds of violins and a cello. This set the stage for the 12th Annual Culinary Delights to take place. This event was hosted by the East Meadow Chamber of Commerce to support Nassau University Medical Center Pediatric Department, Nassau/Suffolk Autism Society, Kiwanis Club of East Meadow Kamp Kiwanis, East Meadow Council of PTA's, EPIC Long Island and America's Vet Dogs. Attendees were treated to a night filled with delightful music and delicious cuisine from local restaurants, eateries and bakeries.

Guests were served buffet-style by East Meadow's finest restaurants. There was Jack's Steak House, Raging Bull, Majors Steakhouse, Margarita's Cafe, La Novella, Signature Smoothie, Uncle Giuseppe's, Pietro's, Mille Grazie! Pizzeria, NU Health, Bagelicious, Nna's Deli, and Borrelli's serving their most exquisite dishes.

When attendees were ready to satisfy their craving for sweets, there was a room devoted solely to this. In attendence was American Classic Ice Cream, Panera Bread, The Bread Box, and A Taste of Home with desserts that had us going for seconds!

The night drew to a conclusion with a raffle of 60 lovely prizes. For it's 12th consecutive year, Culinary Delights continues to be an inspiring fundraiser that lends a helping hand to various charity organizations.
