Valentine's
Day Dinner The Suffolk County Vanderbilt Museum is hosting its annual Valentine's Dinner in the Vanderbilt Mansion on Saturday, February 11th with seatings at both 6PM and 8PM. The evening will begin with hors d'oeuvres and wine in the Memorial Wings of the mansion and after a brief tour of Mr. Vanderbilt's private living quarters, you will be seated for dinner in the Northport Dining Room Porch. Entree choices for dinner are Filet of Norwegian Salmon En Croute, Roast Shell of Beef Au Jus, South Street Chicken and Portobello Mushroom Ravioli. Dessert will follow in the Lancaster Room, with a side trip to the Vanderbilt Library and the Moroccan Court. This evening will be a romantic opportunity to show your special someone how much you care this Valentine's Day. Seating is limited and sells out quickly, so early reservations are recommended. Comedy
& Cuisine Event John T. Mather Memorial Hospital's annual Comedy & Cuisine Event will feature some of New York's funniest comedians along with offerings from Long Island restaurants, bakeries, wineries and microbreweries. Participating vendors include Port Jeff Brewing Co., Flories Finales, Blackwells, Lenz Winery and Uncle Bacala's Restaurant. Proceeds from this annual fundraiser will benefit Mather's Rooftop Garden program, which provides an outdoor "healing garden" and recreational space for adolescent and adult psychiatric patients. The evening will begin with a sampling of good food, wine and craft beers and continues with hilarious comedy from Liz Miele, Joe Larson, Mike Trainor and Shane Snider. Mather's Vice President of Information Services, Tom Heiman, is also an amateur comedian and will be the emcee for the evening. Cost: $75 Per

7th Annual
Coffee & Tea Festival The 7th Annual Coffee & Tea Festival is being held on February 25th and 26th in New York City and will be a celebration of everything related to coffee and tea. This international extravaganza is open to the public and will offer two days of events including classes and demonstrations from industry professionals. There will also be chocolates and sweet treats to accompany your cups of coffee and tea. The 2012 United States Barista Championship (USBC) Northeast Competition will also take place during the festival. This championship is sponsored by the Specialty Coffee Association of America and the Barista Guild of America. The competition highlights the craft of the barista and espresso-based beverage production.
