Long Island Food Critic

The annual Taste of Long Island was held to benefit The Safe Center LI whose mission is "To protect, assist and empower victims of family violence and sexual assault while challenging and changing social systems that tolerate and perpetuate abuse." Guests were welcomed to the Carltun in East Meadow to sample generous restaurants savory dishes while supporting this worthy cause.

With over 30 different of New York's top restaurants, caterers, wineries, breweries, and bakeries serving an array of their finest offerings, it is easy to see that this event continues to be an exciting extranvaganza for restaurants and attendees.

Everyone went home a winner that night, as all proceeds went to the charitable Safe Center LI and guests got the opportunity to indulge in delicious cuisine.
