Beneath a tent filled with beautiful glowing stars, the Huntington Historical Society presented its 24th Annual Evening of Wine Under the Stars. This year's momentous event took place at Dr. Daniel W. Kissam's House where attendees were encouraged to sample the fine cuisine and libations offered by the restaurants, bakeries, breweries and wineries of the area.

The restaurants in attendance included the Culinary Studio, Panera Bread of Huntington, Old Fields Steakhouse located in Greenlawn and Port Jefferson, Suburban Eats, Crew Kitchen, Fado Portuguese & American Cuisine, The Whales Tale, Coindre Hall and Bon Bons Chocolatier.

All guests received a souvenir wine glass to sample the evenings liquid offerings. The Blind Bat Brewery was serving two of its delectable tasting beers: Hell Gate which was a Belgian inspired Golden Ale that was a smooth frothy concoction with a fabulous finish and the Echolocation IPA for the hoppy lovers out there.

The delightful evening to drew to a sweet conclusion with a decorative cake honoring Jo Ann Raia, the hardworking town clerk of Huntington. With its 24th consecutive year of success, An Evening of Wine Under the Stars continues to shine and show the historic side of Huntington that deserves to be recognized and preserved.
