Long Island Food Critic

This year's 22nd Annual Great Chefs of Long Island was hosted by the Family Service League and took place at the elegant Crest Hollow Country Club. The Family Service League is one of the largest non-profit organizations on Long Island and has been helping individuals, children and families improve the quality of their lives at home, in the workplace and in the community since 1926.

With over 40 different restaurants and wineries participating in this year's event, guests enjoyed a night filled with delicious cuisine and exquisite libations.

Attendees indulged on delectable samples from Long Island's finest restaurants while listening to live music. A silent auction offered exciting prizes like an IPad Air, hockey tickets to the NY Rangers, a luxury vacation in Mexico, and four VIP tickets to a taping of the Rachael Ray Show.

This event provides a great opportunity to support a worth-while cause while sampling some of the best cuisine on Long Island. Family Service League continues to help up to 47,000 Long Islanders each year.
