4th Annual Just Desserts
Old Bethpage Village Restoration

This year's Just Desserts, presented by Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano, was held at the charming Old Bethpage Village Restoration. This was a celebration honoring Nassau's outstanding women of distinction as well as benefiting the Safe Center LI and Nassau County Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

    

Guests indulged on signature desserts by numerous local bakeries. With an array of cannolis, cookies, cakes, and other tasty pastries, attendees delighted in the chance to sample Long Island's most decadent desserts.

    

"This event is a true show of love", Linda Mangano said of the 4th Annual Just Desserts. With over 400 people in attendance, it was clear to see her statement was true.

  

This event not only gives guests the opportunity to enjoy mourth-watering treats and coffee, but also is held during Women's History Month to honor women of achievement in Nassau County. Ed Mangano announced this year's honorees recognizing six ordinary women that perform extraordinary work.

  

Ed Mangano also introduced Miss Harper and the Roberts family. Miss Harper is an adorable pit bull that was physically abused and mistreated but is now living with a loving family that adopted her thanks to the Nassau County Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Just Desserts continues to be a wonderful event honoring the contributions women have made to their communities while also displaying delectable desserts by generous bakeries.
