Long Island's Victims Of Hurricane Sandy
The Carltun

Almost all Long Islanders were affected by Hurricane Sandy, some much more devastatingly than others. The Carltun hosted an event to benefit these victims on December 10th, which included food and beverage tastings, raffles, and silent auctions.

More than 50 local restaurants participated towards the goal of providing relief for their fellow Long Islanders. The generosity of all those who participated, including the Carltun for donating the event space, allowed 100% of the proceeds to go directly to the people who needed it most.

Many of the attendees also donated coats and toys. It was truly a humanitarian event, where Long Islanders showed how much we really care for each other and how far we are willing to go to help one another. Below are some of the generous establishments that helped make this event possible.
